GET READY FOR A NEW SEASON WITH THE SCOOP ON FALL 2016 FASHION TRENDS!

To be prepared for the Fall our wardrobes could certainly use a little pick-me-up. And what better way to breathe some life into our black-and-gray outfits than some bright, bold prints?

Lucky for us, the most recent fall collections are full of graphic patterns galore, and this season takes them to a whole new level – from buzzy prints and ditsy florals to graphic leopard. Whether you’re rocking them head-to-toe, or mixing them into your wardrobe one piece at a time, check out the latest fashion styles you need to try right now.

Get ready for a new season with the scoop on fall 2016 fashion trends, including velvet, florals and animal prints.

Nothing says luxury like velvet, the historic fabric of aristocracy. This season it was a royal favorite of the kings and queens of couture, as well.

Velvet, by many accounts, is the season’s must-have. The two easiest ways to incorporate it is by adding a shoe or a blazer. Everybody has a suede or leather shoes in their life, so velvet is new, and you can get three seasons out of a blazer. You can dress it up for the holidays, but it’s also fantastic with a pair of skinny jeans.

Minimize your blooms this season and opt for tiny ditsy florals. While it’s a given that feminine styles like skirts and dresses look awesome in a Liberty print, try the pattern with sportier shapes, like leather bomber jacket and even fashion sneakers.

Don’t hold back when it comes to animal prints in 2016. Pick a statement piece, like a mid-length coat, and choose one in a strong graphic pattern. It’s a head-turner, for sure, but if you’re going to do it, do it.

When it comes to stripes this year, go for color. Daunting as it may sound, a classic pattern like graphic stripes are an easy way to mix brighter hues into your wardrobe without feeling over the top.

1. Velvet

When the chill sets in this Fall, you’ll be thrilled velvet is having its moment. Designers showcased the luxe fabric on dresses and suiting – even track suiting – making it the favored texture of the season.

Sought after the Renaissance nobility and beloved by 21st century designers alike, this lustrous textile ruled the runways, cropping up as a divine way to update classic silhouettes from head to toe.

  1. Wow, Love these Fall 2016 Fashion Trends. The animal prints are my favorite!

I really never realized that velvet has made a com back. What’s your thought about corduroy? I have a corduroy suit in the back of my closet just waiting for that style to come back!

    • Hi Suzette!
Corduroy – the Seventies Favorite is Poised for a Serious Comeback.
It was a tried-and-true wardrobe staple for Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, who spent much of the nineties in a pair of cropped corduroy trousers and a simple black turtleneck.
Kate Moss has worn the fabric for more than two decades; first in the form a ruby red blazer in her Johnny Depp years, and more recently, via a pair of muted brown skinny corduroy jeans.

So, don’t hesitate and wear your corduroy suit the following season!
      Wish you good luck!

      Regards,
      Larysa
