STYLING TIPS: DRESSES FOR NOW INTO FALL!

Wear now and later!

It’s too hot to fully say farewell to summertime, but it’s never too early to plan for a gradual or swift change in season. Not only does this time of year mean a change in wardrobe strategy, but it’s also time to give our closets a serious organisational overhaul.

Don’t pack up your cute summer dresses – you can still get more mileage out of them! When mornings turn chilly, reach for your go-to sweater to transform your dress into a wearable transition piece. Dust off your ankle boots, too – it’ll be time to retire your sandals shoes soon.

Getting dressed between seasons can be tough. To help dress for the finicky weather and the changing of the seasons, try taking your warm-weather classics and pairing them with fall staples. This is not only perfect for those warm days that turn into cooler evenings, but also will help you extend your summer wardrobe!

The key to transitioning your summer wardrobe to fall is having the right balance. Typically, I pick one classic summer piece and work it in with my fall staples. You try! For example, pair your favorite summer sheath dress with a cardigan or trench coat and your denim cutoffs with a blazer jacket.

By wearing a piece from both seasons you create a balance and an unexpected factor that really makes your outfit pop. Another easy way to take a summer piece into fall is by switching out your heeled sandals for a closed toed pump. These subtle changes will help you get the most wear out of your summer favorites and prepare for the season change.

Here are 4 ways to make the transition stylish & smooth.
