“Salt in the air, sand in my hair.”
Unexpectedly, this quote just popped up in my head the other day. Probably due to my exponentially increasing desire to just lay on the beach all day long, now that the days are longer and sun shines a just tad brighter.
As an adult in an attempt to actually act like one, I am painfully aware of the fact that in life you just don’t get what you want when you want it most of the time. But when life gives you a personal style blog and a dresser full of clothes, you go on and share your latest beach-inspired musings with the world in the form of cute outfits.
The serenity of the sand beige tones across the board, only interrupted by stone-like speckles, courtesy of the wide leg trousers. Carefully selected designer accessories (like this TOUS Earrings) making a statement of their own, while being additionally eye-catching under the sunlight. Blue Cat-Eye Sunglasses adding a fun pattern to the mix.
These sunglasses will act as that finishing touch to a minimal outfit that only needs just a touch of that ‘je ne sais quoi’.
For four years now I’ve been on a mission to revamp and minimize my wardrobe. Having less to choose from when getting dressed and saving time while doing it means that a lot of what you own HAS to match. Efficiency is achieved through picking out neutral colors when purchasing new clothing & accessories.
In a sea of over-the-top ensembles, a minimal aesthetic can be totally refreshing. Minimalism is top of mind for many. But if you want to lead a minimal life, assessing your wardrobe is a great place to start.
